The solution: break up your stretching and rolling throughout the day. While that sounds like it might actually be more difficult, it’s not as hard as it sounds and you may not even have to change your day-to-day routine much to fit them in.

    Tony Mikla is a sports physical therapist and performance coach. His practice is dedicated to the improvement of his clients’ performance in life and on the field. Dr. Mikla speaks and teaches nationally on sports physical therapy and is active in research having published multiple papers in international journals. He previously served as the Physical Therapy Manager at the world renowned EXOS in Phoenix, AZ, working with best athletes in the world. He is adjunct faculty in PT at Sacramento State University and Northern AZ University. In 2015, Tony was named a finalist for the NSCA Sports Medicine Specialist of the year.

    Annie’s passion for bodywork derived from her mother, who is also a massage therapist. She began to pursue her passion in the healing arts in 2010, leaving her job from the municipal government for a chance to study massage in Fair Oaks. Curious by nature, she has explored traditional Hawaiian massage, Thai massage, Reiki, Ayurveda, and various deep tissue modalities. Also a yoga instructor, Annie prescribes pain relieving postures to her clients as homework as well as assisted stretching. Her favorite quote is Tikkun Olam, translating to “heal yourself, heal the world”, believing everyday is an opportunity to be of service and learn.
